Why We Focus on Quality, Not Brands
One of the questions we are often asked at Cherrycore is which jewellery brands do we stock.
The answer is actually more complicated than many people expect.
At Cherrycore, we umbrella a range of jewellery collections, including both custom-manufactured pieces and jewellery sourced from reputable manufacturers around the world. Some are well-known industry names, while others are suppliers and manufacturers that many clients may never have heard of.
The reason for this is simple:
We don't believe a brand name alone determines quality.
Our Loyalty Is to Quality
Over the years, we have intentionally moved away from heavily promoting individual brands because our priority has always been the quality of the jewellery itself, not the logo attached to it.
One of the reasons our clients trust us is that we are honest about the products we offer. If we feel a manufacturer is no longer producing jewellery to the standard we expect, we will reassess whether that product belongs in our studio.
Quality is not something we evaluate once and forget about.
It is something we continually monitor.
Some times our suppliers change their; Manufacturing methods, Quality control standards, Warranty policies, and or Customer support. But ours to you does not.
One thing that doesn’t change is our commitment to you, so they might change things time to time and we might have to reassess to stay true to our commitment to you.
As piercing professionals, part of our responsibility is staying informed so we can make educated decisions on behalf of our clients.
Sometimes that means continuing to stock limited option from a supplier in store / online and other times it means discontinuing certain items altogether.
The Jewellery Industry Is Changing
The body jewellery industry has changed dramatically over the past 2 decades and even more drastically in the last 8years.
Advancements in manufacturing technology, communication and global sourcing mean that exceptional jewellery can now be produced by a wider range of manufacturers than ever before.
The reality is that high-quality jewellery is no longer limited to a small handful of brands.
Today, manufacturers around the world can produce jewellery using the same implant-grade materials, modern machining techniques and high-polish finishes that were once available only through a select few companies.
Many piercers and industry professionals are actively investing in testing, verification and quality assessment to ensure these products meet the standards clients deserve.
As a result, the conversation is shifting from "What brand is it?" to "How well is it made?"
And we believe that's a positive change for both clients and professional piercers.
Why Expertise Matters More Than Ever
As manufacturing becomes more accessible, choosing jewellery increasingly comes down to understanding the details.
What material is it made from?
How is it finished?
What quality controls are in place?
What warranty support is available?
How does it perform in real-world healing situations?
These are the questions that matter most.
This is where the knowledge and experience of your piercer become invaluable.
A reputable piercer should be able to explain not only what they recommend, but why they recommend it.
Our Approach at Cherrycore
Our goal has never been to sell a particular brand.
Our goal is to provide jewellery we trust enough to place into our own clients' bodies.
Whether a piece comes from a globally recognised manufacturer, a specialist custom supplier or one of our own manufacturing partnerships, it must meet the standards we expect before it reaches our displays.
If it doesn't, we won't offer it.
It's really that simple.

Of course, we understand that many clients have favourite brands and enjoy collecting particular collections.
If you prefer to wear jewellery from a specific designer or band, we're always happy to help.
If you see a piece you like online we can make that happen for you.
You can browse their collections directly through their websites or search their catalogues, and our team can assist with product information, suitability, custom orders and special requests.
Unfortunately we can’t keep every item in store in ever range we carry which means we regularly order items from many suppliers to create a more curated range for our clients in-store this means we can easily and quickly assist with any reputable manufacture.
